Event Details

If two or more teams are equal on points on completion of the group matches, the following tie-breaking criteria are applied:

1. Most Points
2. ROW (Regulation/Overtime Wins)
3. Head to Head (Can only come into effect in D3)
4. Goal Differential
5. Goals Against
6. Goals Scored
7. Penalty Minutes (Fewest)

For teams playing three games in Division 1 pool play (Ohio State/Eastern Michigan), the results against the lowest finishing opponent from Pool A will be removed when determining seeding.

In Round Robin play points will be determined as follows:

Regulation Win = 3 Points

Overtime/Shootout Win = 2 Points

Overtime/Shootout Loss – 1 Point

Regulation Loss = 0 Points
