More About Max
Harold Maxwell Ryan grew up playing a physical, fast-paced style of hockey back in Brigantine, New Jersey where is two older brothers had him on skates before he could walk. He easily surpassed his older brothers by the age of 12, and his intensity and heart on the ice made him an easy choice for captain on most of his youth teams. After a tremendous start to his high school hockey career where he showed a lot of potenetial -- some would say he was the Scott Stevens of prep hockey -- he had to make a sudden move out to California where his hockey career would change forever.
After coming to California he had to adjust his hard-hitting play to avoid leading every California hockey league in penalty minutes.  He then came to UCSB where he was introduced to the greatest sport in the world; roller hockey. The D1 team took particular interest in Ryan after he posted great numbers in the minors and added him to the roster his junior year. He put up impressive stats his rookie year finishing second on the team with 19 goals. Revision also took notice of the rising star and signed him to a one year contract. Expect big things from Ryan going into his senior year, where he looks to take on a major role with the Gauchos
