Arguably the most intimidating player in all of GPCIHL Division II, senior Neil Bales has developed a reputation as a shut down defenseman and one of the hardest players to stand in front of the net against.  Though he possess a rocket slap-shot, he has never been known as much of an offensive threat, but rather has made a name for himself as a stay at home defenseman.  Bales often will block half of the shots directed at the Bulldog goal, making life easier for goaltender John Pecher.
