I started with the Wings when I was 15 years old, playing for the 17 & under team. The following summer I played 16u and 18u. The next year I played 18u. This was the first time I ever competed at the Platinum level. The summer of 2007 I didn't play Wings hockey at all, I was kind of burned out with hockey and thought my career was pretty much over. Then in 2008 I got back into it - playing Junior and Pro.
