Grand Valley State Lakers are your 2018-19 MCRHL Division II Conference Champions. It took an OT effort to do so. Miami came out flying with two early goals from Ethan Clearfield and Owen Benben. At the end of one Miami was leading 3-2. Grand Valley State had an answer for every one of Miami’s tallies. The Lakers led late into the third when Timmy Lauing took an Interfence penalty and the Redhawks tied it late. Teams traded multiple chances in the OT period until Ryan Hoffman scored his first of the game for the game winner
